What animal do you associate yourself with?

I like dinosaurs. So it’s gonna be a diplodok.

What is the meaning of your activity? Why do you create music? Do you think that with its help it is possible to change something?

I think we are doing this because we really want to. And also because it’s a great affair.

Do you have some kind of inner edge of radicalism of statements through which you do not allow yourself to overstep?

I don’t even know. It seems we’re already beyond the edge.

What are your favorite songs and videos from childhood?

As a child I loved the group “Secret” and Aguzarova very much. And at that time there were almost no clips.

How close are you to the concept of happiness and the pursuit of it?

Hm, well, everyone would like to be happy. But usually it's just some kind of ephemeral dreams of something unrealizable. I try to just enjoy everything in the world.

Are you going to create songs in English? How important that your songs are in Russian?

We’re not going to do it. It just happened that we write songs in Russian. It's nothing you can do.

In your latest video for songs 1999, 17:05 and Friend, the children overthrow the authority, run off into the fields and return to the primitive ranks. But what’s next? How can children build the world from scratch without adults?

I think they can do it somehow. It will not be worse anyway.

Do you think it is possible to build a society on a horizontal basis?

Yes. I really believe in some small associations. Such groups of people are capable of horizontal communication.

What Ukrainian performers do you like?

I am a sincere and devoted fan of Monatik.

You used to be a journalist. Is a musician responsible for his work as much as a journalist?

I think that I am responsible for my music only to myself. That is, you must do what you sincerely believe is awesome.

Does your group know the state of stagnation, how did you cope with it?

Well, we haven't brought it to stagnation yet. Although it sounds tempting.
